Welcome to 'Team Layla 2017'!

We are very excited to be entering a team for the 10th consecutive year! We are so pleased so many people have joined the team year after year to help raise valuable money for such a great cause.  

A very big thank you to all of our friends and family, and also to our amazing team sponsors (for their donations and help to produce the team t-shirts) - Norman Disney & Young, Kings, Venus & The Australian Clothing Company. 

'Team Layla' is inspired by Layla Hopkins who is one of the many fortunate recipients of the great work carried out by the Royal Children's Hospital.   

The Royal Children's Hospital saved Layla's life multiple times and administered regular treatment in response to complications resulting from premature birth at 24 weeks gestation weighing in at just 590 grams.  Layla is now 10 years old and in Grade 4 at school and doing really well. 

Layla's medical story is one that defies the odds. She's falls into a group of around 2% of children who survive a similar start to life without any physical or mental disabilities - a result that would not have been achieved without the expertise of the RCH team. It is our hope the results we've seen can be achieved with more children, but this can only be done by supporting the hospital and this is a fantastic opportunity to do just that. 

Please donate to our team to help this fabulous cause so we can all give back to the Royal Childrens Hospital so they can continue to support sick children in need of expert medical care and support.
